February 8, 2006 - Horrible product by Enterprise System Administrator, Product Rating: 2/5: This is one of the worst products I have found. It may be cheap, but that is what you are buying... a cheap product. Agents are buggy and fail regularly. Server regulary experiences issues as well. An agent based solution for this simple tasks is not ideal and one that fails regulary is much worse.
October 26, 2004 - WARNING BUYER BEWARE by OT, Product Rating: 2/5: This product in the last year has gotten terrible. From bad software releases to bugs to support hold times of an hour. Slow to release patches and some disappear for weeks at a time.
October 27, 2003 - Dont know why voters have this ranked so low. by Craig, Product Rating: 5/5: I have been using this solution (yes-it really is a SOLUTION) for 2 years now. It is active directory aware, has Master and Leaf agents which can be configured for different administrators (Multiple master consoles) and leafs to the boxes they deploy/administer. Conformance reporting, deployment status and scheduling, and what I like most, automatic access to the technet KB articles regarding every patch so the admin. can decide if it applicable to their environment or not. Leaf agents are not dependent on RPC or any other MS service so high security networks can use it. I also like that when using the agents, all communication is encrypted. A+ in my book, because of this software I havent been affected by a vulnerability yet.....knock on wood.
Also, this software keeps track of OS,Exchange,SQL,ISA,MSoffice,MDAC,Media,IIS and IE patches. I love it, and would recommend to anyone.

By the way, I dont work for St. Bernard nor do I sell theirs or anyones elses software. Im an IT director at a midsized US manufacturer using the software for about 100 machines. I know others that are patching with this on 350 machine networks and 1000 machine networks.
