ISAServer.org Announces Weekly Chats

We’ve been talking about doing ISAServer.org sponsored chats for almost two years. The time has come! I’ll be putting together a schedule for weekly chats. The long term goal is to have an ISA Server expert answer questions on the topic of his or her choice. If I can’t get someone to be the "expert of the week", I’ll be the victim J and host an "open chat" for that week.

You can visit the chat room at any time. However, I’ll only be there when the "official" chats are scheduled. But don’t let that keep you from visiting from time to time, you never know who might be there!

We’re using the MSN Community Chat Service because it has a nice GUI, and more importantly, its free! The chat room is at:

If you want to be an expert for a chat, write to me at tshinder@isaserver.org and let me know your subject and a date and time. Check the calendar for a week that doesn’t already have an expert chat scheduled. I will replace any scheduled open chats with your chat day and time, so let me know when you want to our featured expert!

I'll will try to post the entire transcript for all the chats as soon as they're done. I'm not sure how large the on-screen buffer is, so that will take some experimenting. If any of you know if there's an on-disk log of the MSN chats, let me know and I'll be able to copy that info directly onto the site right after the chat!
