ISA Server 2000 VPN Deployment Kit Feedback Drawing

ISA Server 2000 VPN Deployment Kit feedback line:
Are you using your ISA Server firewall as a VPN server? How about VPN gateway? If not, are you thinking about co-locating your firewall and VPN server as part of your server consolidation process? While I always try to avoid putting extra services on the firewall, ISA Server firewall and VPN services are like peanut butter and chocolate: they’re two great tastes that taste great together!
I had this in mind when I put together the ISA Server 2000 VPN Deployment Kit. There must be a lot of you out there who are interested in putting together an ISA firewall/VPN server because we’ve had about 25,000 downloads of the kit in less than a month. That’s about 20,000 more than I expected. What is says to me is that a lot of people are either using ISA as a firewall only but want to know more about putting together a combined firewall/VPN server, or there are a lot of people thinking about getting an ISA Server firewall and want to know if how if they can save some money by making it a VPN server too.
Did the ISA Server 2000 VPN Deployment Kit give you the information you needed to get done what you needed to get done? Was everything in there? Was something missing? Did it have everything you wanted except for the one thing that would have made all the difference? These are the things I want to know. The ISA Server 2000 VPN Deployment kit is a community effort and it will be updated based on the needs and wishes of the ISAServer.org community. All you need to do is let me know what you want.
As a small incentive for your feedback, I’ll send one lucky person a copy of ISA Server and Beyond and provide one hour of FREE consulting time using a really cool technology called RapidAssist. The RapidAssist application is a remote control application that works like pcAnywhere, but you don’t need to install any applications on your machine and you don’t have allow anything outbound other than HTTP/HTTPS. We’ll use RapidAssist to allow me to look at your ISA Server configuration and fix anything that’s broken, or make some tweaks if that’s all you need.
So head on over to ISA Server 2000 VPN Deployment Kit Questionnaire, answer the questions, and I’ll put your name in the box. We’ll have the drawing for the book and the one hour of free consulting time for your ISA Server deployment on October 20, 2003 and I’ll announce the results here on that day.
Thanks again for your help! –Tom.
