Several of you wanted to know about what packet filters you need to create to make TZO DDNS work correctly. Well, here ya go!

TZO Packet Filters
By Thomas W. Shinder, M.D., MCSE, MVP

A few of you have mentioned you would like to use the TZO dynamic DNS service to allow you to publish servers on an ISA Server interface that uses dynamic addressing. That's great! I've been using TZO for years, for myself and several of my clients with dial-up and even dedicated connections. Its very easy to use and the TZO servers are quite reliable. They even have a bunch of add-on services that can add fault tolerance to your own DNS server configuration.

OK, enough of the sales job. They don't pay me anything to promote them Here are the screen shots of the packet filters you set on the ISA Server to allow the TZO client (which is installed on the ISA Server) to work.

Have fun! Let us know about your Web site after you get it published.

If you have any questions on these packet filters, write to me at tshinder@isaserver.org and we'll get you fixed up. Thanks! --Tom.
